The DallasHR Governmental Affairs Committee has been hard at work this year planning a fantastic event for Tuesday, June 9th! That is the day of the amazing, outstanding, world-renowned (okay, maybe that's just my personal belief) event known as the DallasHR Legal Exchange Conference!
We have an UNBELIEVABLE lineup all day and you do not want to miss this! In one day, you will get so much legal information and knowledge that you just might want to race to your nearest courthouse and start rubbing elbows with lawyers! Okay, maybe not...but you will receive an extraordinary amount of legal information in only one day. Here is what you get:
To start the day, join us at our Legal Round Up to hear from employment law experts in a customized experience that will allow you to get the answers you need on six different hot legal topics. Each speaker will present on a pre-assigned legal topic in a small group setting and provide expert answers to your pressing legal questions before you rotate to the next topic area. You will return to the office better informed and prepared to ensure compliance.
The event also includes registration to the DallasHR June Monthly Luncheon, during which Sterling Miller, JD, will present "Watch Your Step: 10 Common Legal Pitfalls for the HR Professional." In addition to discovering what those pitfalls are, you will learn how to handle them in ways that minimize your risk and strengthen your partnership with the in-house legal team. By the conclusion, you will have a number of concrete steps to take away for dealing with these risks and increasing the value of the human resource department to your company.
