The 2010 theme for DallasHR Membership is "The Power of One".
As you know, our annual fundraiser to support the SHRM Foundation this year is going to be a "Cork Pull" scheduled for May 11, 2010 (Bosses Day). This is a great opportunity for us to raise money for the foundation. We can use "the power of one" to make this the best event ever..
Since we have approx 2,165 members... each of us can ask at least one person we know to donate a bottle of wine, and to attend the bosses day lunch to purchase a cork for $20. This is the Power of One and gives us the opportunity to raise the most money ever. *Wine bottle dontations need to be $30.00 minimum. Contact DallasHR office staff for more information.
