Beta Testing on HRConnect has begun!
I admit it. It seemed like, at times, we'd never get there. The big launch to the entire membership still seems far away. Here's a summary of what it will take to get there:
Testing Round 1, Phase 1 (began January 18)
- Beta testers will log on to HRConnect for the first time. They will upload pictures to their profile, send Contact requests and fill out their personal information. Beta testers will also complete a questionaire providing feedback to the office.
Testing Round 2, Phase 1 (will begin January 25)
- Beta testers will make a blog entry (like this one!), will engage in online discussion in set topic areas, will choose how often to receive messages about discussion in topic areas, will edit their signature that will follow their comments in the Discussion Topics and will provide feedback for the office.
Testing Round 3, Phase 1 (TBA)
- Beta Testers will continue to participate in online discussion and will post a document to the eGroup's Library. Beta testers will be asked for feedback on current Discussion Topic areas and what additional areas they'd like to see added.
Testing Round 4, Phase 1 (TBA)
- Beta Testers will identify a few, fellow members to invite to use HRConnect. They will let me know who they bring on board, will give them their assignment and support the new users over a period of two weeks. The original Beta tester will share any feedback they receive with the office (Candace).
Phase 2
This phase is all about continued engagement, bringing on more users and fine-tuning what we can about the platform. More details to follow, later.
