CFOs and HR Leaders Connect

Quarterly networking and discussion session for HR leaders and CFOs/Finance Directors who are in transition.

Just as the expectation of HR Leaders has changed to be strategic and results-oriented business partners, the expectation of CFOs has also evolved. The article by Heidrick & Struggles indicates a CFO is  “a strategic, operationally-oriented finance executive who can serve as the business partner to the CEO.”

Topic: What are a CEO’s expectations of a CFO and of a HR Leader - on the leadership team and as a business partner?

When a CFO or Finance Director meets with a CHRO or HR Leader, how can you best connect? What are the CFOs' expectations of the HR leader? What are the CHROs' expectations of a CFO? What business challenges are they facing? What is a preferred style of communication?

In our discussion we will build on understanding the different views - the CFO and CHRO roles, their priorities, and how HR leaders and CFOs contribute to the business goals.

What questions would you like to ask a CFO?

This is also an opportunity for CFOs to learn more about how to connect with CHROs, and to network with other senior professionals.

These networking meetings will be held quarterly.  Invite CFOs to join the discussions.
