Job Searching and Networking during the Holidays
The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is often a time of holiday parties, lunches, and fun. It is also a time when decisions may be made on positions to be filled in this calendar year, or sourcing and interviewing for positions to be filled as soon as the new budget for 2014 is in place.
The bottom line – don’t take your eye off your goal or ramp back on your activity. Networking is still key, but it is lighter and more fun. So how do you search for a job when you are serious, but others want to talk about other things?
