Have you checked your online presence lately?  What comes up and how much comes up when you Google your name?

Understanding the value and importance of your web presence is a critical in today’s workforce, especially for senior leaders who are in transition.  A well-established web presence coupled with a strong “quality” professional network can dramatically improve your professional positioning. In today’s market your online presence is a necessary component for highlighting your skillsets and marketing yourself as a competitive, savvy leader.

In this session we will be discussing your current online presence, if you have one, and learn ways to improve your presence.  You will learn strategic tips for utilizing web based marketing tools like LinkedIn, blogs, Twitter and brag books to help promote yourself and generate more interest about YOU online.  Our discussion will be interactive so active participation is encouraged.  Please come prepared to share ideas about how you are actively promoting yourself on line, what works and what has not.  At the end of the session you will come away with specific tools to assist in expanding your web presence and promote yourself to other professionals.    


Developing Your Web Presence starts with a clear strategy, a carefully crafted plan of how to promote yourself on line.  Increasing Your Web Presence requires you to make regular updates, adding and / making changes in order to keep your profile current and interesting.  Please come prepared to ask questions, take notes and share your experiences with your peers. 

As always, ProLink discussions focus on the challenges you face as senior HR professionals.

Eligibility to attend ProLink meetings:

ProLink is for HR Directors and above who are also members of JobLink.  It is a self-directed group, so topics discussed are suggested by the attendees, and highly relevant to HR leaders. 

JobLink is free and open to individuals who are currently unemployed or who have been notified that their jobs are ending and who are seeking employment in the field of human resources. (Consultants, either established or starting their own business, are encouraged to join the DallasHR Consultants PEG).

You do not need to be a member of DallasHR to attend. Dress is business casual. Each meeting features a program on a HR leadership topic along with networking opportunities.
