It’s relatively easy to say build a target list, expand your network, and be active on LinkedIn, but as they say “the devil is in the details”….. The concept seems straightforward, but implementing can be challenging, especially at the executive level.
At Feb 13 meeting, we will continue the discussion from Jan 23 meeting and dig a little deeper on some of the questions below:
- What are the components of an effective marketing plan for executives?
- Which companies should you target? How do you identify companies in the small-mid size range or info on private companies?
- Are there tools that you should be using?
- How has a marketing plan changed with changes in social media, the economy, and other trends?
- How do you connect and build a network of C-suite professionals?
- Accountability.... How do you build accountability into implementing your plan?
It’s also about information sharing, advice and referrals…….
Bring your current lists of target companies and your contacts list. If you want to bring a laptop, you will have internet access.
As always, the discussion will be focused on the challenges you face as senior HR professionals.
