8:00 – 8:30 am Introductions and networking
8:30 – 11:00 am Workshop – DiSC Management Profile

Self-awareness is important in your job search. DiSC is a tool to help you understand yourself and others better. The Everything DiSC Management Profile focuses on your management priorities and preferences. Using this knowledge you will be prepared to answer interview questions such as:
• What is your preferred management style?
• How do you interact with others? How do others perceive you?
• How do you manage your day?
• What are your directing and delegating strengths and challenges?
• How do your motivational needs compare to others?
• What is your approach to developing others? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of this approach?
• What are some of the obstacles and strategies for working with other styles?
In addition awareness of how you work with a manager can be incorporated into understanding and connecting with your interviewer or future manager, and demonstrating how you will be able to work effectively together.
• Understand their priorities and preferences
• Advocating and getting buy-in
• Dealing with conflict
